The Inspire Ladies’ Weekend usually takes place in May at Mullartown House. Around 60-70 ladies from all over the country get together to enjoy good food, good fellowship and sound bible teaching from a visiting speaker.
In recent years we have had the author Catherine Campbell and the missionary Laura Sanlon as our speakers.
Christine lives in Co. Down and teaches part-time in a Primary school in East Belfast. She has a passion for music, loves being an auntie to 5-year old twins and is currently ‘between yorkies’ after her most recent side-kick passed away recently.
After completing the Cornhill Training course and working for a church in Belfast for a few years, she now regularly teaches the Bible to women in many contexts, both in her own church and further afield. She counts it a privilege to be given the opportunity to minister God’s word to women all over the island of Ireland.
Christine has seen her fair share of life’s difficulties and can personally testify, again and again, that Jesus is more than enough. She delights in helping other women delve into the riches of God’s word. In her spare time, she loves nothing more than a lovely walk in the countryside or a good cup of (decaf) coffee with friends.
“The Psalms speak to us powerfully because they often give voice to our human experience, our struggles and our fears. But even more significantly, they remind us of the sovereignty and nearness of God in each and every situation. As Christians, we are assured that nothing in our lives is accidental, nor is anything wasted. Furthermore, we do not face any of these trials alone, though they may feel very lonely at times. Join us as we delve into Psalm 23 and Psalm 46 and consider how the Lord is with us ‘In the Valley and Through the Storm.’”
